Bodmas - This is an acronym to help remember the order of operations in calculations. It stands for Brackets, Order (roots, and power), Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction
For example, (14+19) ÷ (13-2) = 33 ÷ 11 = 3
VIBGYOR - Violet–Indigo–Blue–Green–Yellow–Orange–Red, is another popular technique that helps one remember the colors of the rainbow.
Days of the month mnemonics - This is a technique that we are sure you were taught as a child to help remember the days in each month. It’s a count kept on your knuckles, with the simple logic that your protruding knuckle depicts 31days, and the underside is 28/30 days.
Order of the Planets - You might have learned the simple phrase “My very educated mother just served us noodles” (or previously, “my very eager mother just served us nine pizzas” when pluto was still a planet), which would help you remember the order of the planets depending upon the first letter of each word in the phrase.
The value of PI - Learning the value of PI, that is, 3.1415927, isn’t the easiest but here’s a trick to help you do so with word association. You simply have to learn the phrase “May I have a large container of coffee”, and the no. of letters in each of these words are the same as the numbers in the Pi value.

Connections - Connect or link it to any story/ incident or an attribute that can help you remind of the same. For example, the loud man Liam, or the shy girl Saira.
Linking - Creating a chain in your mind such that one can remind you of the rest. For example, if wearing your shoes, picking up your bag, checking for your wallet and keys, is your everyday routine, your brain would go in the same order. And in case one misses out, you would realize it before it's too late.
Do mnemonics really work?
